Walking in France

For us France is the starting point of our adventures with its wonderful network of long-distance walking routes (GRs) so well supported by refuge and gîte accommodation.

Our 2005 trek along the Pyrenees GR10 from the Atlantic Coast to the Mediterranean simply changed our lives. It gave us a wonderful appreciation of how simple life can be and inspired us to many further treks.

In 2007 itchy feet demanded another challenge and a north to south traverse of the Alps on the GR5/GR52 from Lake Geneva to Menton seemed a worthy successor to the GR10.

Corsica and Chemin de St Jacques ( sites still under construction )
